Day 1: Explore the Cape Peninsula

Morning:

Get up at sunrise and head to Boulders Beach. Wave hello to the native African penguins in their natural habitat and take a morning stroll with a coffee along the boardwalks through the colony.

Lunch:

For lunch, walk into the nearby Simon's Town – a charming coastal town with many awesome cafes and seafood restaurants to choose from.

Afternoon:

Drive through the Table Mountain National Park to Cape Point. Explore the dramatic landscapes, take a hike up to the Cape Point Lighthouse and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife like baboons, ostriches and various bird species. Bonus point if you spot a caracal.

Evening:

Visit the Cape of Good Hope β€“ a short drive from Cape Point – for a breathtaking sunset over the ocean (and perhaps a sundowner or two). Look out for local dassies hanging around – rock rabbits, in essence. Yes, they're as adorable as they sound.

Day 2: Join a Safari Adventure

Morning:

Depart early for a day trip to Aquila Private Game Reserve β€“ located a few hours from Cape Town. This incredible game reserve offers a unique opportunity to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino) and other African wildlife – all while on a safari tour less than two hours away from Cape Town.

Lunch:

Enjoy lunch at one of the reserve's restaurants while taking in the stunning views of the African bush.

Afternoon:

Continue your safari adventure, explore more of the reserve and revel in the once-in-a-lifetime encounter you'll (probably) never experience again.

Evening:

Return to Cape Town in the evening and if time permits, dine out at a local spot (check out Seven Colours Eatery at the V&A Waterfront) or enjoy a relaxing evening in your hotel.

Day 3: Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and Seal Island

Morning:

Visit the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens β€“ known for its lush landscapes and diverse birdlife. Take a leisurely walk through the garden's trails and enjoy a picnic breakfast – or head to Mojo for a lekker bite.

Lunch:

Head out to Hout Bay for lunch at one of the seafood restaurants – a fan fave would be Snoekies. Afterwards, take a boat trip to Seal Island to see thousands of Cape fur seals in their natural habitat. NB: wear a mask – they sure can be a lil' stinky.

Afternoon:

Return to Cape Town and visit the Two Oceans Aquarium to explore marine life, including sharks, turtles and an abundance of vibrantly-coloured fishies.

Evening:

For your final evening, wine and dine in one of Cape Town's most renowned restaurants, The Test Kitchen, and savour some truly spectacular South African cuisine.
